Hello and Welcome
My name is Ronnie Castellano and I am a Contemporary Guitar instructor.
I'm teaching at the Duplin Music Academy in Rose Hill and my Home Studio
in Beulaville. I've been teaching for about 30years to all ages. (7
to 70) My goal as an instructor is not to just teach songs, but to let
the students understand how to play music in general and how to pull
from their favorite artists to find their musical voice. I teach them
how to read sheet music, chord charts, tablature (just the basics) and
let them bring in songs they want to learn to go along with all of this
material, which tends to keep them motivated to practice. By the end
of the day they are practicing what they brought in and learning cool
riffs to go along with it , and most of all learning how it all ties
together.
