Melodee Wynne, BM Founder and Director
Ms. Wynne has been a music educator for 30 years. Beginning her musical
training at the age of 6 years, Melodee continued her love of music
through a journey of extensive training, performing, and study. She
attended East Carolina University studying piano performance with Dr.
Paul Tardiff and recently returned to school at the Universtiy of North
Carolina at Wilmington to study the Organ with Dr. Larry Cook. Graduating
in 2007, she completed another lifetime dream and received a BM in Organ
from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ms. Wynne has performed
throughout eastern North Carolina as a soloist and accompanist and is
a regular adjudicator for the NCMTA, the Southeastern Piano Competition
and several other music competitions. She has lived in the Duplin County
area for the past 28 years and continues to serve as an instructor,
church musician, and handbell director.
